High Tea Treats

Juicy organic strawberries and  sour cream were the things that stared at me when I opened my crisper to see if I can eat something for a snack today and then I remembered  this month’s Meeta Monthly Mingle hosted by Aparna of My Diverse Kitchen.  I waited until tea time for these teensy weensy nibbles and Boy , Im glad that I did ! There were fantastic and K and Mommy dearest enjoyed them thoroughly.

Heirloom

Spicy and sour , a traditional recipe , a must during the festival times. This is a bit tricky to make , but surely a winner amongst the lot and a sure to be on the menu , for every occasion , festival. I cannot remember a time when it was not cooked  and I cannot remember a time , when I didn’t stamp my foot in anger and walk away because it was “this” dish again !

Think Spice Round Up

Finally, here it is… My little one had a runny nose which kept me awake all night most of the week. Yesterday was the only day where I could snatch a couple of hours of sleep and I feel so rejuvenated . Now I realize how precious sleep is.. especially when I dont get a chance to snatch more than 2 hours at a stretch.  Thank you all for being patient with me  and thanks a ton for all the congratulatory comments and emails !

Sprouted Almond Milk and JFI Round Up

I love the fact that I can make it anytime I want, I always keep a stash of sprouted almonds in the refrigerator just to satiate myself whenever Im in need of this energy drink which is definitely a couple of times during the week. it works as a great snack for me… especially when I crave for that one cup of extra tea…which I have given up in the recent times.
