I am so excited about letting you guys know that this blog has won the Click contest – Host’s pick for the month September 2009. Thanks to Bee and Jai for hosting this wonderful event , thus bringing out the creative best in all.
Heartfelt thanks to all the Judges , voters and especially the participants who inspire me to do the best.
Here is a beverage I made to cool off all the excitement, A must for all Lassi Lovers! ,
We are excited that the summers are coming to an end . The temperatures have cooled down considerably and we are having a great time with the cool breeze gently flowing while we sit out in the patio and relaxing . Before the summers end , we thought we’d treat ourselve to a creamy lassi with a twist. I chose to lace thick greek yorgurt with POM juice which the POM guys sent it to me a few days ago and for an interesting twist , I added a bit of rose water and sweetened it with agave nectar. All in all , It was a well worth try and we fell in love with it.
Read about the goodness of POM here
Ingredients:
4-6 ounces of POM wonderful Juice ( alternatively you can use fresh pomegranate.
1 lb thick greek yogurt
2 teaspoons of rose water
3 tablespoons or more Agave nectar ( if you are using honey , reduce it by a tablespoon)
Method:
Take all Ingredients in a blender and blend until they mix well. Chill for atleast 1/2 hour in the refrigerator. Serve chilled !

Wow nice idea for a lassi with the POM. I got mine. one bottle is over even before I took pictures:-( I have to hurry & do the other one.. BEAUTIFUL pictures! don’t know how you do it. & I am loving the Wooden tray (?). The Pom juice on it looked like the pine knots of the wood.

Loved the picture Dee. It definitely deserves the Click recognition. The fire from the aarthi, the puliyogare, the bell everything looks divine.
